One of the women (survivors) who featured in the R.Kelly's sexual misconduct allegation docuseries "Surviving R.Kelly" - Azriel Clary, is now an important part of the FBI investigation into R.Kelly's sexual misconduct allegation.
Azriel Clary was reportedly flown to Phoenix to Orlando from Palm Spring when she was still a minor, specifically on May 25, 2015, on a slingshot rout. At that time, she was just 17.
According to Clary's family, Azriel's three-way trip was organized by one of R.Kelly's administrative assistants. This condition is putting Kelly in direct violation of Mann Act.
Mann Act is the federal law which prohibits the illegal transportation of underage across state lines, for the purpose of debauchery, prostitution or sex. Punishment for such crime is up to 10 years in a federal prison.
However, Kelly's attorney, Steve Greenberg has denied to TMZ that Kelly violated the law and also said he was unaware of any investigation. The singer's representatives has also referred to a handwritten note from Azriel's mother in which she gave Kelly's assistant consent to care for her daughter.
TMZ reports that the FBI also contacted the family of Jocelyn Savage who is another alleged "sex slave" of Kelly.
Kelly's attorney still maintains that Kelly is innocent of all sexual misconduct allegations.
