A serving House of Representatives member in Oyo State, Temitope Olatoye, popularly known as 'sugar', who is representing Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency was reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen. According to Sunday Vanguard, an information from a reliable source stated that the Honourable was shot in the eye at Iyana-Agbala area of Ibadan on Saturday. Sugar's younger brother, Oladotun revealed that Sugar was truly shot and was rushed to University College Hospital Ibadan (UCH), he died few hours later. Olatoye is said to have died at the Intensive Care Unit of UCH, Ibadan on Saturday, March 9. The spokesman of the hospital, Toye Akinrinola said Sugar died from gunshot wound. Usher and Rich the Kid were at a West Hollywood recording studio when shots were fired outside and robbery occurred, according to TMZ. The incident happened outside Westlake Recording Studios, Usher was reportedly inside the studio and according to the representatives of Rich the Kid, "he is fine". According to TMZ, Usher was spotted leaving the studio and he appeared fine but didn't have anything to say about the shooting. Shots were fired during the incident at Westlake Recording Studio, the man who started shooting was running away from the studio when he opened fire from behind him, according to eyewitnesses. With the support of local coroner, police were able to identity the body found in the wreckage plane as that of Emiliano. A plane carrying Emiliano went missing on January 21, the plane wreckage was located early February after a thorough search and a body was found in the plane. The President when addressing some issues from the Oval Office  on Thursday morning was asked about the "Empire" actor's attack and he said, "it's horrible". "That I can tell you it's horrible. I have seen it last night. It doesn't get worse, as far as I'm concerned", he said. That was quite a short reply as he didn't say much about the attack. On Thursday, the United States declared it was imposing visa restrictions on Ghana, as reported by Reuters. The U.S is accusing Ghana of failure to cooperating in accepting its citizens ordered cleared from the U.S. According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), "U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has commanded consular officers in Ghana to ensure visa restrictions on some sections of visa applicants". The statement further stated that, " without an effective reply from the African country (Ghana), the aim of this regulation may further reach a large population in the country ". DHL Secretary, Kristjen Nielsen stated that, "Ghana has disappointed for not living up to its rules under international law to accept the return of its nationals ordered cleared from the United States". "We think the Ghanaian government will make effort with us to settle these issue as soon as possible", Nielsen said.

Smollett was spotted on video surveillance camera walking on the opposite side of the street at two persons of interest, as reported by Rob Elgas, a reporter. Elgas said both Smollett and the persons of interest then walk off camera. According to the reporter, Jussie remained unsighted on the camera for almost 60 seconds. He resurfaced on video surveillance going in to a condo building with street salt on his sweater and rope around his neck. Smollett arrives at a friend's place where cops met him for report. The Police just revealed an image that has to do with the  alleged assault attack from surveillance camera, but the image only reveals the shadow of the persons of interest. Singer Chris Brown and two other men identified as his friend and a body guard, were detained in Police custody on Monday after a 24-year-old woman complained she was assaulted in a hotel in Paris earlier this month.
