The R & B star has gained his freedom on Monday, his freedom was effective after paying 10% out of the $1m bail set for the singer. The payment was posted on Monday after the 52-year-old appeared in court and entered a not guilty to plea to the 10 counts sexual abuse. According to TMZ, as Kelly stepped out of jail, there were some protesters shouting at him, referring to him as pedophioe and asking what his reaction would be if a man urinated on his own daughter. Kelly was spotted at McDonald's in Chicago's River North neighborhood with his entourage after his release, they all went there to eat. Kelly's next court appearance would be on March 22, 2019. The singer would still be paying about $160,000 in back child support to his ex-wife, Drea, failure to pay this amount to her might result to the singer going back to jail. Greenberg who is Kelly's attorney, told reporters on Saturday that his client doesn't have to have nonconsensual sex.

After the 52-year-old R &B star was charged with sexually abusing four females, including three underage girls, a judge in the U.S. has set R.Kelly's bail at $1m equivalent to £766,500 on Saturday. Robert Sylvester Kelly, popularly know as R.Kelly surrendered himself  to the police on Friday after issuance of arrest warrant. His bail was set as $1m but 10% which is $100,000 is all he needs to post to secure his release. As reported by BBC, the judge chairing Saturday hearing was John Fitzgerald Luke Jr, who presided over last week's bail hearing for actor Jussie Smollett. The 52 year old singer was arrested on February 22, 2019. His attorney Steve Greenberg shared with the  Association Press that Kelly is innocent and not guilty. Charo's husband is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Charo's TV producer husband of 41 years shot himself at their Beverly Hill's home. According to TMZ, the husband Kjell Rasten shot himself Monday afternoon in the Beverly Hills home where he resided with his wife Charo. Someone in the house called 911 and the police responded, Kjell was taken to the hospital but they were unable to rescue him. He got married to the actress and singer María del Risario professionally known by her stage name Charo in 1978 and they had one child together. The child is actor Shel Rasten. Kjell was a TV producer in the 1970s and 1980s. Charo, Kjell and Shel Rasten featured in "celebrity Wife Swap" in 2015. Kjell was 79.
